All of these photos are from a trip collecting dinosaur fossils with Paleo Prospectors.  During this week we collected on a private ranch west of Newcastle, WY in the Lance Formation dating back to approximately 67 million years ago.  These photos/videos are from those five days of collecting!  

On day two of collecting this week I visited a site I had found almost a decade prior to this.  The site was where a partial Triceratops skull eroded out of the hillside and there were many theropod teeth found at which suggested feeding after the animal died.  This is what I found...

To get to one of the collecting sites on this ranch we need to cross the Little Cheyenne River.  The is usually no big deal but Wyoming had record rains recently so the river was much wider than usual and an unknown depth since you could not see the bottom.  So here's what happened...
