I have had the chance to collect dinosaur fossils on the ranch were "Z-Rex" AKA "Samson" was discovered which is one of the most complete T Rex's ever found. When prospecting around the original excavation site I noticed some shiny pieces of enamel poking out of the hillside and next to that a section of dinosaur bone. These fragments ended up being two sections of two separate Tyrannosaurus Rex teeth as well as what looks like a section of Tyrannosaurus Rex vertebra. It was over a decade since Samson was excavated and it is possible that these are some pieces that were left behind or missed during the excavation. It is also possible they were other fossils that were deposited with Samson at the same time. Either way the rancher let me keep them and although they are not the most impressive fossils in my collection, they tell a very interesting story and have significance in the history of dinosaur Paleontology.
