SOLD Dromaeosaur "Raptor" Killing Claw Toe Bone Digit Dinosaur Fossil Hell Creek SD
This listing is for an extremely rare complete killing claw toe digit from a small Dromaeosaur or Troodontid dinosaur found in the Hell Creek Formation of Perkins County, SD. The bone itself is 100% complete with no repairs or restoration and was a surface find while collecting.
The killing claw toe on a raptor-type dinosaur is very unique in its structure so these bones are easy to identify. This is the second bone before the killing claw based on its shape. It articulated with the very oddly shaped toe bone that attached to the claw and allowed for a wide range of motion. The bone measures only 5/16" in length and was likely from a juvenile Dromaeosaurid or Troodontid dinosaur.
This is a very rare bone that is not usually seen for sale!
The tooth comes with its own gem display case and COA upon request and would make an excellent addition to any fossil collection.
